History and The Beautiful Game
Sample Itinerary: London and The Premier League
-
Day 1 - Arrive
Arrive in London for a week’s adventure. Start your visit with “skip the line” access to the London Eye. The 443-foot wheel is a favorite attraction of Jessica Alba (31 visits) and Kate Moss (25 spins). And if you’re feeling romantic, you could join the more than 5,000 couples who have gotten engaged there.
-
Day 2 - The White Album to The White Tower
Start your day in the footsteps of the Fab Four with a private Beatles Tour in a classic London black cab. Then in the afternoon, get your fill of London history and the Crown Jewels during a tour of the Tower of London. Watch for the Tower ravens - cared for by a dedicated ravenmaster, legend has it that when the ravens leave, the tower and kingdom will fall.
-
Day 3 - An Authentic Pub Crawl
Whet your appetite for tomorrow’s match with a tour of Arsenal’s Emirates stadium, then spend the afternoon exploring London at your leisure. In the evening, experience the best of London’s historical pubs on a private tour. Be sure to try a “hand-pulled” pint!
-
Day 4 - One-Nil To the Arsenal
Join 60,000 fellow “Gooners” for an Arsenal Premier League fixture - one of the greatest spectacles in sport. Practice your anthems (especially “The Angel (North London Forever)” and “Good Old Arsenal”) while you enjoy a pre-game pint at a famous football pub.
-
Day 5 - Brush Up on "The Knowledge"
Did you know that London cabbies have to memorize every street within the 5 square kilometers of central London, know 40,000 landmarks and be able to recite the 400 most common passenger routes from memory? See how much you can pick up on your private City Streets and Tasty Treats food tour. And yes, fish and chips DO taste better in London!
-
Day 6 - Bond. James Bond.
See London through the eyes of MI6’s most famous operative on your private, half-day 007-themed tour. Enjoy a martini (shaken, not stirred) while you keep an eye out for Blofeld, Le Chiffre and the agents of Spectre.
-
Day 7 - Everything Else!
Your last day in London is all yours! Museum lovers won’t want to miss the British Museum and Tate Gallery (ask us about skip the line access), while shoppers won’t want to miss Savile Row and Fortnum and Mason. And don’t forget to see what’s on stage in the West End!
